Message You just have to adjust your driving for the weather conditions. Drive slower in the rain and don't give it a lot of gas on turns. Our car's have wide tires and like to hydroplane, even when going in a straight line on the highway they can hydroplane if you're going to fast.

If you start to hydroplane or lose your tail end in a corner, DON'T hit the brakes. Just back off the gas a little (not completely) and gently counter steer.

Same goes for snow. I've had to take quite a few hills sideways due to ice, but then again, there have been times when a jeep in front of me had to do the same thing. Rule of thumb: don't drive like a dumbass, and if you dont' have experience driving a RWD car in the rain, go find a parking a lot next time it rains and get used to losing your back end and bringing it back into place.
